Are You Brave Enough to Share Your Testimony?

I'd like to think of my blog as just one place where people can begin to share their own stories. I just wrote an article about all the new ways we can share our testimonies. Communication was different 10 years ago. That's why we need to grab hold of the new tools that we can use to communicate God's love to others. Today we can reach way beyond our Wednesday morning Bible study. Whenever we join a discussion group about something we are passionate about we are multiplying our message! When we make a post to someone's Facebook wall you've connected with a whole new group of people God loves. There are so many people out on the internet that are spreading negative messages and drawing people to put their hope in false ideologies. We need to tip the scales with the truth about what God has done, and is doing, in our lives. We need to offer stories of hope that show that God is real, loving and powerful. I just looked at my site log to discover that 67 people have been to my blog page in the last week. That means that if you post some hope on this blog someone is going to read it. Maybe you don't know where to begin with the "technology thing" or you're not sure where (or how) God wants you to share? Consider beginning right here. Be brave enough to share your testimony!

Telling Our Story:

Our life is a gift for others!

I want to give Emily desire even more than I desire her to paint. It’s the desire to share her story that I really want to give to her. It’s her story that has the real power. Painting just helps her tell it. Maybe Emily will tell her story, but she’ll tell it differently than I have? Maybe she won’t paint but she’ll still find another way to give her story a voice? Then her life could touch people, reach out to them and encourage. That would make her life a gift for others. I’d be so incredibly proud.
